By the use of the tube circumferential exposure mode, so the detection of a butt weld, only one exposure can be completed, which is compared with the tube double-wall transillumination detection method, not only improve the work efficiency, but also to ensure the detection sensitivity. The movement of the crawler in the pipe is controlled by the instruction source outside the pipe or the video microwave remote control. According to the instruction signal, the crawler is controlled to complete various operations such as forward, backward, and exposure.
